Ever find yourself collecting things you had no intention of collecting?

I picked up a lighter with lights and a torch and now I cant walk by a different one without seeing if its cool and if so buying it. I dont even smoke.

then I get a little flahing light pin from a hockey game and now I find myself looking for them on ebay and trying to find them when I go to stores.

I've never intended to collect these things among other gadgets and stuff I end up with, but feel that "got to have it" feeling with them. I've got a collecting problem thats for sure. Its like I cant have just one of something. If I find something I like, I feel the need to have more than one or every version of whatever it is. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Sadly, Yes. A while ago I picked up a bunch of those Comic Book Champions pewter figure from Marvel and DC. I was in a dry spell at the time, and now I am kicking myself for shelling out money for the damn things. Still have them somewhere collecting dust.

bought an ink pen that lights up too. thought it was just too cool and great for writing ambulance reports at night etc. well I ended up with almost 10 of them. some because I thought that I should have more in case one breaks and I cant find them again. then different color lights and then moving lights and now I can hardly walk past them without looking to see if I can find something I dont have
